What Is Odoo Landed Costs?
Odoo Landed Costs is the feature within Odoo that allows businesses to apportion additional charges to incoming shipments after the purchase price has been recorded. When you import goods, the invoice from your supplier reflects the product price, but the real cost includes freight charges, port fees, customs duties, and possibly insurance or inspection costs. Landed costs allows these to be allocated across the relevant products in proportion to their value, quantity, or weight, updating the average cost or standard cost of each item in inventory accordingly.
